Laceby History Group was formed in April 1977 as a result of the interest generated by a series of lectures on the history of Laceby given by Peter Gosden.
The aims of the Group are:-
To promote interest in the history and heritage of Laceby and the surrounding area
To seek and preserve records past and present, of the life and times of Laceby.
Peter Gosden was the founder Chairman of the Group and continued as Chairman until 1992, when Pat Anderson succeeded him, with Peter still retaining a very active interest. In May 2003, Barry Chambers became Chairman, with Pat retaining his involvement with the post of Vice-Chairman.
